WR – Golden Tate, Notre Dame Fighting Irish
5’11 – 195 lbs.
(1/6/10) – With an absolutely awesome junior year, Golden Tate has declared for the NFL draft. I think it was a good move for him. His coach and QB are gone too. Tate is a special player that I think will be the 2nd WR taken in the 2010 NFL draft. A lot of people will question his size and speed, so Raiders fans sorry but you will never draft a guy like him but the thing with Tate is that he is a football player. He is a big time playmaker and every time Notre Dame needed a big play they went to Tate (even though the defense knew it was going to him). He will also be able to help a team in the return game. Not to mention Tate has great hands and plays the ball in the air as good as anyone in college.

Great analysis draft guy. Tate is going to be nasty in the NFL, in fact, I would say Lee Evans is a poor mans Golden Tate. It may take a year or two for Tate to become a true impact player, but he has inhuman instincts, incredible hands and plays the jump ball better than most 6′4 wide outs do. Tough as nails too…a true football player. Love this kid, watch out for him
