| NFL Mock Draft Pick | NFL Team | 2010 NFL Mock Draft Player |
|---|---|---|
St. Louis Rams | Arrelious Benn, WR - Illinois Fighting Illini Benn has good size at 6'2. He had a down year and it really dropped his 2010 NFL draft stock but take a look at the team he played on. I think Benn will be a very good NFL WR and that is why I have him as the 3rd rated WR in my 2010 NFL mock draft.
Detroit Lions | Mike Iupati, OG - Idaho Iupati couldn't have had a better year in 2009. He didn't even allow a sack. I am still up in the air about where he will be drafted. He should really be able to help protect the Lions franchise QB. Right now they have a lot of weapons but no time to get it to them. Johnson should be taken within the first 2 rounds of the 2010 NFL mock draft.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers | Golden Tate, WR, Notre Dame I am up in the air about Golden Tate. He doesn't have great size or speed but the kid can play. He makes great plays on the ball always going up and getting it at the highest point. Most of the time he comes down with it in double or triple coverage. He can add a little to the return game as well and that is why I have him as the 3rd rated WR in my 2010 NFL mock draft. The Bucs lost A. Bryant so look for them to get a WR here.
Philadelphia Eagles (from Washington) | Donovan Warren, CB, Michigan Warren is a very good CB. He didn't run as good as he wanted to and that is why I have him falling into the 2nd round. The Eagles need a CB to replace Sheldon Brown. Warren will instantly help the Philly secondary.
Kansas City Chiefs | Linval Joseph, NT - East Carolina Joseph has really been shooting up 2010 NFL mock draft boards. Kansas City could really use a PRODUCTIVE DT. Joseph will be able to help them out up front.
Seattle Seahawks | Mike Johnson, OL - Alabama Crimson Tide Johnson helped pave the way for Heisman Trophy winner, Mark Ingram. I really like Johnson and think he will be an outstanding lineman in the NFL. Seattle could really use help on the O-line and Johnson is their guy.
Cleveland Browns | Jerry Hughes, OLB - TCU He has great speed off the edge. Boise State was sending two guys to block him most of the night in the Fiesta Bowl. He has great football sense and wouldn't be shocked if he continues to move up 2010 NFL draft boards.
San Diego Chargers(Oakland) | Terrence Cody, DT, Alabama Cody is a monster in the middle. He weighed in at 370 lbs. at the Senior Bowl but was back down to 356 lbs. at the combine. The Chargers cut Jamal Williams which means they are looking for a NT.
Buffalo Bills | Cam Thomas, NT - North Carolina Tar Heels The Bills are switching to a 3-4 defense so Thomas may be a good fit for Buffalo. Thomas is one of the best true NT in the 2010 NFL mock draft.
New England Patriots(Jacksonville) | Navorro Bowman, LB - Penn State Bowman is very athletic for his size. He is awesome when playing the run and is pretty good in coverage too. I think he will be taken in the first 2 rounds. The only thing holding teams back are his off the field issues. As for his on the field skills, there are not many questions. He is just another great LB from LB U.
Tampa Bay (Chicago) | Ricky Sapp, DE - Clemson Tigers The Tampa Bay defense needs help on many levels. Sapp is good player for them and if he falls this far, they will take him. Sapp is a good prospect in my 2010 NFL mock draft. I could see Sapp sneaking into the first round.
Denver Broncos | Demaryius Thomas, WR - Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets The Broncos just lost Brandon Marshall. The other WR's on the team are nothing special. Look for Denver to draft a WR here.
