2009 NFL Power Rankings - Week 11 Team (Last Weeks ranking)
1. Indianapolis Colts (1) WOW. What a game. Manning was awesome once again. The Colts found a way to win.
2. New Orleans Saints (2) Saints had a close one in St. Louis. Looked very sloppy on the road but pick up the win to remain undefeated.
3. New England Patriots (3) Lose a tough game but they dominated all aspects of the game. I really want to put the Patriots first but all that matters is W's and the Pats didn't get one on Sunday. Brady/Welker/Moss is looking deadly.
4. Minnesota Vikings (4) Looked okay on Sunday. Nothing great. AP is a beast and Favre is playing like he is 25 again.
5. Cincinnati Bengals (6) BIG,BIG WIN! WOW. They dominated the Steelers. With a season sweep of the divsion the Bengals are in the Driver's seat. These Bungals are for real!
6. Pittsburgh Steelers (5) The offense didn't look good on Sunday. Couldn't convert in the red zone. That will kill a team and it did.
7. Arizona Cardinals (9) Cards offense is looking good. Fitz and a healthy Boldin are a very dangerous combo!
8. San Diego Chargers (12) The Chargers are HOTT! Head into Denver on fire while the Broncos are reeling.
9. Baltimore Ravens (11) Good win on Monday night. The defense played well but who cares? Its the Browns.
10. Green Bay Packers (17) Packers come up with a huge win and maybe save their season. The defense, Charles Woodsen specifically was AWESOME!
11. Dallas Cowboys (7) Tough loss in Green Bay. Could have really took a strangle hold on the division when Philly lost and the Giants on a bye. Make the division up for grabs now.
12. Houston Texans (14) Bye week. Move up because they get healthier and open play up back at home.
13. Philadelphia Eagles (13) Not a great game in SD but I still think they are a good team. They are too up and down to be in the top 10.
14. Miami Dolphins (16) Nice comeback win for the Dolphins. Should have dominated the Bucs but nice last minute drive to win the game and hang around in the Wild Card talks. Big game THURSDAY NIGHT.
15. New York Giants (15) Bye week. Open up play back at home. I like the Giants to get a win at home this week.
16. Carolina Panthers (22) The Panthers are playing well right now. The running back combo is very good in Carolina. Big game for the Panthers on Thursday night. They are right back in the Wild Card race.
17. Tennessee Titans (20) 3 in a row for the Titans. Vince Young has been very good. The Bills do stink but took care of business when they needed to.
18. Denver Broncos (8) The Broncos are reeling. They are not playing well and with Orton out they looked awful. Chris Sims looked very bad. Without Orton they are in deep trouble. The red-hot Chargers come to town this week.
19. Jacksonville Jaguars (23) The Jags are suddenly in contention. A long shot but still A shot. They did what they had to vs. the Jets to get the win. MJD is awesome and continues to carry the team.
20. San Francisco 49ers (21) The 49ers looked alright. I can't believe they got 5 INTS and still almost lost. The defense is good but the offense is not playing well right now.
21. Atlanta Falcons (10) The Falcons lost a big one in Carolina. I don't think Atlanta is very good and will struggle without Michael Turner. Play a well rested Giants team.
22. New York Jets (19) Jets are brutal. They are playing very poor right now. They will get spanked this week in NE.
23. Chicago Bears (18) Cutler isn't doing exactly what the Bears thought he would do. I think he is going to cost a few people their jobs in Chicago. He throws way to many picks. Jay, yes, you have a very strong arm, but that doesn't mean you can just throw it to the other team every play.
24. Washington Redskins (27) Skins get a big win. Have an outside shot at the division but playing for pride right now.
25. Seattle Seahawks (25) Got out to a fast start in Arizona but couldn't hold on. I don't really like the Seahawks, they are not a strong team in my eyes.
26. Kansas City Chiefs (26) The Chiefs win on the road but lose Dwayne Bowe today because he got caught taking PEDs' Not great for an already struggling franchise.
27. Buffalo Bills (24) Hmm. What to say about the Bills? Good job firing Jauron and getting a jump start on trying to sign one of the big time coaches out there!
28. Oakland Raiders (28) Brutal. The Raiders played awful at home. I think Russell's time is done in Oakland.
29. St. Louis Rams (29) The Rams were so close vs. New Orleans. SJAX is a beast. He doesn't get the credit he deserves because he is on such a bad team.
30. Detroit Lions (30) A very ho-hum game. The Vikings let them hang around but the Lions still couldn't do anything. The Lions have a legit shot a winning next week.
31. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (31) Have been playing much better as of late and Josh Freeman looks pretty good for a rookie.
32. Cleveland Browns (32) Looked awful on Monday night. Couldn't move the ball and Brady Quinn didn't complete a pass that was throw over 10 yeards. That is a mind-boggling stat to me.
