| NFL Mock Draft Pick | NFL Team | 2010 NFL Mock Draft Player |
|---|---|---|
San Francisco 49ers | Joe Haden, CB, Florida Haden probably won’t fall but if he does the 49ers would be ecstatic. Haden is another player that is climbing up my 2010 NFL mock draft board. He is a very athletic player and has great speed. I think he is a very good cover guy too. Haden should be a top 15 pick in the upcoming 2010 NFL draft.
Seattle Seahawks (from Denver) | CJ Spiller, RB, Clemson Spiller is electric on the field. This may be a little high to take him but he can help out Seattle in so many ways. I know they need a OL however I think they can get a good lineman with their pick in the second round and I don't think Spiller would make it that far.
New York Giants | Derrick Morgan, DE - Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets Derrick Morgan is an amazing athlete and if he falls to New York at 15 they will definitely draft him. He had a great year and I think he will be taken in the top 15 picks of the 2010 NFL draft. He has a great combination of size and strength and should be a dominate pass rusher for years to come.
Tennessee Titans | Carlos Dunlap, DE - Florida Gators Carlos Dunlap has had a few off field issues however he is an absolute freak on the field. He has a great combination of size and speed. If teams can get over his off field issues he may not even fall this far in the 2010 NFL Draft. The Titans really need some help along the D-Line (look for them to go DT or DE).
San Francisco 49ers (from Carolina) | Earl Thomas, S, Texas Earl Thomas is a big time player. He should be a first round pick come April. Thomas can make up for a lot of mistakes in the secondary. Thomas is a top DB prospect in my 2010 NFL mock draft.
Pittsburgh Steelers | Donovan Warren, CB, Michigan Warren is a very good CB. The Steelers could really use CB so I think this is a good match. Warren will instantly help the Pittsburgh secondary.
Atlanta Falcons | Brandon Graham, DE - Michigan Wolverines Graham is a great athlete. I think he will be a very good DE in the NFL. He is very strong and didn't get a lot of press because he was on a Michigan team that had a bad year. Graham was the first defensive player in school history to be voted Bo Schembechler Most Valuable Player twice (2008, 2009). He was also named the Senior Bowl Game MVP. His NFL draft stock is really rising and I like him to be taken in the 1st round of the 2010 NFL draft.
Houston Texans | Kyle Wilson, CB/PR - Boise State Broncos Wilson had a great week at the Senior Bowl. He has great speed and showed great ball instincts. Wilson will be able to improve his 2010 NFL Draft stock at the 2010 NFL combine. The Texans need a CB very badly and Wilson should be able to help them out. The Texans have a very good front 7 but need help in the secondary. Chances are that Dunta Robinson will not be back next year so the Texans will need to spend their 1st round pick on a CB. Wilson should also be able to help in the return game.
Cincinnati Bengals | Golden Tate, WR, Notre Dame I am up in the air about Golden Tate. He doesn't have great size or speed but the kid can play. He makes great plays on the ball always going up an getting it at the highest point. Most of the time he comes down with it in double or triple coverage. He can add a little to the return game as well and that is why I have his as the 2nd rated WR in my 2010 NFL mock draft.
New England Patriots | Brian Price, DT - UCLA Price had a great year and really climbed up NFL draft boards. He made a great decision to come out of college because his stock will never be higher. Look for him to be a first round pick in the 2010 NFL mock draft. The Pats biggest need isn't defensive tackle but if Price falls here, they should take him. This will give them very good depth up front.
