| NFL Mock Draft Pick | NFL Team | 2010 NFL Mock Draft Player |
|---|---|---|
Green Bay Packers | Taylor Mays, S, USC Mays' NFL draft stock dropped a little bit this year but he has great size at the safety position. Some teams are concerned with his covering skills and how he plays the play action. I think he will be a great player in the NFL and he is one of the top DB's in my 2010 NFL Mock Draft. He had a great combine and I think the Packers could really use Taylor Mays in the secondary. They biggest need was OT but they resigned Chad Clifton to fill that hole. Look for the big hitting Taylor Mays to be pick by the Green Bay Packers in the 2010 NFL mock draft.
Philadelphia Eagles | Jerry Hughes, OLB - TCU He has great speed off the edge. Boise State was sending two guys to block him most of the night in the Fiesta Bowl. He has great football sense and wouldn't be shocked if he continues to move up 2010 NFL draft boards.
Baltimore Ravens | Aaron Hernandez, TE - Florida Gators Hernandez is a big time playmaker. He may be the first TE taken in the 2010 NFL draft. Baltimore needs a TE. I think Hernandez will be selected in the first 2 rounds of the 2010 NFL mock draft. With a good combine Hernandez should lock himself into the first round. Flacco and the Ravens could really use an athletic playmaker like him.
Arizona Cardinals | Anthony Davis, OL - Rutgers Scarlet Knights Davis is a monster and should anchor the line he goes to for years to come. He is a top 5 OL prospect in my 2010 NFL mock draft. I think he was passed over by Campbell and Williams at the 2010 NFL combine but he will still be a very good OL in the NFL. Arizona could use help up front especially with a new QB under center.
Dallas Cowboys | Mike Iupati, OG - Idaho Iupati couldn't have had a better year in 2009. He didn't even allow a sack. I am still up in the air about where he will be drafted. There is a lot of talk that Dallas really likes him and that would be a very good fit.
San Diego Chargers | Jahvid Best, RB - California Bears Best had a great combine and I think really put himself in a great position for the 2010 NFL draft. Best is a home run hitter. He is very fast and should be able to help San Diego. The Chargers let go of LT and the future of Darren Sproles in San Diego is uncertain so look for the Chargers to draft a RB. Also look for Ryan Matthews from Fresno State to be consider at this pick.
New York Jets | Jason Pierre-Paul, DE - South Florida Bulls Pierre-Paul had a great year and his NFL stock really jumped. There are a few other options here but he is very athletic and will help the New York DL. With the CB's the Jets have, a great pass rusher should make this defense one of the best in the league.
Minnesota Vikings | Patrick Robinson, CB - Florida State Seminoles Robsinson is a very good CB. He should help San Diego out in the secondary and be a 1st or 2nd round pick in the 2010 NFL draft.
Indianapolis Colts | Charles Brown, OT - USC Trojans Brown is a very good OL prospect in my 2010 NFL mock draft. The Colts could really use a big time left tackle to protect Peyton Manning. Look for them to draft Charles brown from USC.
New Orleans Saints | Sergio Kindle, OLB - Texas Longhorns Kindle is a great athlete. His size is the big question mark. If he gets in the right system he could really be a great player in the NFL. The Saints don't need any help on offense so I look for them to try to get stronger on defense.
